Grand vase en cristal de Saint Louis , exceptionnel et rare modèle en cristal overlay rouge à effet craquelé. Modèle de la fin des années 80 au design pur, pièce techniquement exceptionnelle composée de 3 couches en overlay, la dernière en opaline présentant un effet craquelé grâce à un jeu de températures lors de la pose. Très grand format se prêtant également à un usage de potiche. Notre vase porte la signature de St Louis gravée sur l’opaline et porte encore également l’étiquette autocollante de la manufacture. Pièce rare, particulièrement dans ce grand format très décoratif. Notre pièce est en parfait état, comme neuf. Hauteur : 35,5cm This crystal vase is visually and technically spectacular. St Louis – one of the most famous and talented French crystal manufactures – designed this vase in the 1980′s with three different layers. The first one, made of crystal, is covered with another red-coloured crystal layer. A third white opal glass layer that shrank after an ingenious game with temperatures covers the red layer. Its design is perfect, and the tall size 13.7!! highlights its pure curves. This design is really scarce. I saw another one along time ago, only it was smaller. You can put (tall) flowers in… Or not : its worthwhile to let it empty too, just like you do for a Chinese porcelain vase in a vestibule. It is in mint condition as brand as new. Actually I think nobody has ever used it so far : the manufacturers sticker is still there, along with the signature.
